Before you begin your SmartDesk session, please read the following carefully.
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
You need to read and accept the terms and conditions if you wish to use the SmartDesk system. The terms specifically release Pathway and all its employees from any and all liability associated with remote access of your computer. You cannot use the system unless you perform this initial step.
2.
You should be in front of your computer all times during the session and must remain on the telephone and/or use a LiveChat session when SmartDesk is being used. Please do NOT leave the session unattended.
3.
Please close all private and non-relevant documents and programs before the session commences. Please be aware that Pathway’s Technical Support Representative (TSR) will be able to view any applications that are open on your desktop.
4.
We will only connect to your computer to deal with matters that effect the use of Pathway’s products or services – for example to configure a web browser or email client. We regret that we cannot perform general system, hardware or system diagnostics or trouble shooting for PCs. We will also perform this activity only for Pathway customers.
5.
It is essential that you terminate the remote session after the problem is solved, or when the Pathway TSR is no longer working on the issue. You need to confirm to our TSR that the session is closed.
