Outgoing Mail Server Authentication Setup

Pathway understands that email is a vital tool and must be available to you even when you are away from your workplace or home. You may, sometimes need to use Pathway's email system when you access the Internet using another ISP's connection. This can be easily accomplished using EasyMail (Pathway's web based email) system. However, if you wish to use a standard email client (such as Outlook or Outlook Express) while using another ISP's Internet connection, your Outgoing Mail Server settings must be appropriately configured.

IF YOU SEE THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES...

PLEASE NOTE: If you have Outgoing Server authentication already enabled we recommend that you check your email client configuration to ensure your settings are correct. Incorrect settings may cause the Outgoing Server to reject your logon request. Should you see an error message shown below, it means that your settings need to be changed. Please click on the link to your email client above for instructions on how to change your settings.

1. If you attempt to send an email with incorrect Outgoing Server settings, your email will bounce back with "Undeliverable" in the Subject line.

2. Open the email to see the error message:
