Retain Your Existing Phone Numbers

Auto-Attendant
Free up your receptionist with Auto-Attendant – a powerful, customizable system which automatically answers incoming calls and transfers them to specific departments or employees, offers callers a menu of options, allows them to enter extensions or use the company directory. You can customize the greetings used by the Auto-Attendant to present a professional greeting and address your specific call needs.

Front Desk/Operator Console
Improve the efficiency of your call activity and gain more control over live calls. This application is a great tool to help your receptionist handle calls and reach employees at their extensions. The user-friendly graphical interface provides a detailed view of incoming calls, parked calls and employee availability via such features as Available, On Call, Do Not Disturb, etc. The Operator Console allows your receptionist to monitor the status of all the employees (up to 50) located at the same site and gives her/him the ability to transfer calls, toggle between calls, direct voice messages and much more with the click of a mouse. The application runs on a PC in conjunction with the Internet and a Hosted PBX phone.

Web management for Administrators
This web management tool allows an Administrator to access and manage user extensions through a simple web-based interface. No technical skills are required.
Hunt groups
Distribute incoming calls within a business unit so customers and callers always speak with a live person. Hunt groups are a set of extension numbers that are grouped as a unit. When an incoming call is received, Hosted PBX uses the defined hunt group or group of extensions to "hunt" for an available or open line, extension, or channel that can be used to receive the call.
Pick-up groups
Help your colleagues answer an important call if they are unavailable. With this feature, you can answer a call ringing on another phone without moving from your desk. Simply enter a code and the extension of the phone you wish to pick up and you can automatically pick up the call for your colleague.

Music on hold
Let your callers enjoy music (or a pre-recorded message) while they are on hold. Hosted PBX includes default music, but if you want to use your own music, send us the wav. file and we will upload it for you.

Toll-free numbers
Transfer your existing toll-free number to Hosted PBX or get a new toll-free number for your out-of-town customers.

Free in-network calling
Eliminate long distance phone charges between all your office locations with one central telephone system. Even if you have multiple offices worldwide, you can make calls to any location as if they were local calls!
   

Web portal for Users
(tri-lingual presentation: English, French, Spanish)
Give your employees the ability to manage their own phone features and functions. Employees can control their phone setup using a simple web interface and access the portal at any time using their own personal login details. Configurable options include caller ID, call forwarding, and more.

   

Direct Inward Dial (DID)
Direct Inward Dial lets callers dial the 10-digit direct number of any employee without having to go through the Auto Attendant or hearing a greeting. Each employee can thus receive their own direct call number.

   
Local extensions
Employees within the company can conveniently reach each other by dialing the three or four-digit extensions, regardless of the branch location.
   
Three-way conference calling
Conduct business meetings over the phone and link up to three people at a time.
   
Distinctive ringing
Distinguish yourself from the rest of the company. Select a different ring tone for your own phone so you immediately know when your phone is ringing.
   
Voicemail
All users can check their office voicemail from any touch-tone phone no matter where they are.
   

Voicemail delivered to email
Route your voicemail to your email and listen to messages from your computer even when you are travelling.

   

Voicemail through web portal
Access your voicemail on the web portal using a web browser; download the message onto your computer and listen to it using a media player.

   

Speed dial
Assign a speed dial number for up to 99 phone numbers and make calls quicker using speed dial. Manage your speed dial settings online using the web portal.

 
Personal phone book
Store your business contact numbers on your phone and in the self-care web portal so you can access them any time.
 
Corporate phone book
Your company list is automatically populated on your phone and in the online corporate phone book, so you have easy access to your colleagues’ contact information. Even if you have multiple office locations or colleagues who work from home, all employees are included in the phone book and are easily reachable. The phone book is automatically updated as users are created or deleted, so there is always an up-to-date list of employees.
 
Do not disturb
Select this option to send callers directly to your voicemail when you don’t want the phone to ring.
   

Caller ID1
The number of the incoming call is displayed so employees know who is calling.

 

Call forwarding
We know your calls are important, so our selection of forwarding rules will ensure your calls are always answered or routed to voicemail. The forwarding rules are fully customizable and can be managed using the web portal.

Call forward unconditional - Calls are always forwarded to voicemail or a specified number at all times.
Call forward on busy - Calls are forwarded when your line is in use.
Call forward on no reply - Calls are forwarded when your line is not answered.
 
Call logs
Review your call history: voicemail and received, placed and missed calls. (Displays 15 records of each type of call - a total of 60 records)
 
Call transfer
This essential feature simplifies call routing for customers and colleagues. You can transfer callers to other employees, the operator or the Auto Attendant so that callers do not need to redial the main number. If the employee is unavailable, callers can be routed directly to voicemail so important messages are never lost.
   

 

Call waiting (Call hold)
Call waiting alerts you when a second call comes in while you are on the phone. The new caller’s number is displayed so you know who is calling. 1You may then put the first person on hold while you answer the second call.
   
Call back last calling number2
Use this feature to call back the last person that called you, so even if you don’t have the number, you can still reach that potential customer.
   
Prompt the last inbound calling number
View/hear the last number you received so you can keep the contact information for your records.
   
Redial last called number
Use the redial button to quickly call the number you last dialed.
   
Prompt last dialed call
You don’t have to look up the last number you called. Simply prompt the last dialed call to view/hear the number.
   
Prompt missed calls
Don’t worry if you missed a few calls. You can prompt your missed calls so you know exactly who tried to reach you while you were unavailable.
