PWC IV Report from Heather Stewart of Toronto...

Subject: PWC Rocks!!
A huge thanks and congrats to Glenn for all his work on the conference! YA GLENN! You are a man with vision! Thanks to everyone else as well - the work you guys put in really showed and I think it was truly appreciated by all. After not being able to run for over 2 weeks (I know... training, training, training...) I managed to have a fairly comfortable 1/2 enjoying the company of Dave and Nancy. Dave and I were pacing Nancy to a new PR!!! YAAAAA!
At times I felt cruel since I could see she was not having fun (may have even been in the BMZ for awhile) but others (... aka Dave) had done it for me and I knew I appreciated it in the end so we kept pushing.
Dave was awesome - my energy started fading in the last 5K but I kept driving knowing what a big PR it would be for Nancy. When we hit the Penguin water station we had a huge lift!! We could hear you before we could see you and that gave us the energy to get there. Glenn yelling out names of people as they came through, high fives... it was amazing!! We could still hear you as we pulled further and further away!!
If every water station had that energy, I could have done a full marathon!
H :)
**feeling quite Penguiny today**
